Taken at the peak of the procession of Kapaleeswar at his temple in Mylapore during the annual festival. I would frequent this area often and one night was lucky enough be there at the right time. An enormous din of several different groups of musicians, thousands of people, incense everywhere, torches. It was sight to behold. And when the deity finally emerged everyone murmured prayers. This was taken just before that moment.
